And based on what we saw, we can expect the car to come in both station wagon and more popular sedan variants. The heavily camouflaged car serves as an indication that it will receive a major overhaul in the exterior styling. Expert reports also suggest that the car is set to lose around 220 pounds in body weight due to the use of next-gen 7 Series derived CRPF technology. The German automaker is also reportedly bringing in tons of changes in Under-the-hood features of the 2016 BMW 5-Series.

We can expect this car to have various alterations in design on almost all exterior features. Based on what we saw, the headlights and grill position have been kept the same while the bumper has been positioned differently, along with a change in design. For the base model, we expect the car to have a 1.5 litre three-cylinder engine with turbo charging. Additionally, this series could also come with a 2.0 litre and 3.0 litre variants. Latest information tells us that the M variant has capability to produce up to a maximum of 600 hp.
