The 2016 Nissan Altima will be powered by a 2.5 litre V4 engine capable of producing 182 hp. There will also be a 3.5 litre V6 engine producing 270 hp. This is mainly for those who desire stronger car performance. The standard engine is expected to have fuel economy of 27 and 38 mpg in city drive and highway respectively while the 3.5 litre unit will perform 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on highway drives.
