The giant automotive manufacturer has decided to take other brands of crossover automobiles by redesigning and making additions to its fifth generation CR-V. The 2018 Honda CR-V will bear some resemblance to some of the modern day crossover brands widely available in the market. Honda hopes to boost its sales and stand out from the crowded market by releasing it overhauled the fifth generation Honda CR-V masterpiece. The auto manufacturer hopes to bring the model into the future by adopting a more stylish and sportier appearance compared to its predecessors. 2018 Honda CR-V Changes
The first and most important exterior changes of the new Honda CR-V 2018 is the enhanced look. The front of the car will get a new grille that is much bigger and gives the car an aggressive appearance to match its attitude. The hood of the new model CR-V will also be a little bit stretched compared to previous versions. The cars lighting system will be different from the earlier versions. They have been replaced by LED lights that are more energy efficient. The exterior of the 2018 Honda will receive a dual exhaust system for that sporty look.
Due to the elongated chassis of the 2018 CR-V SUV, it is expected to have extra legroom and luggage space. This will enable the vehicle to accommodate more and improved features. Some of them are the art infotainment system and surround sound system. It has a number of speakers a touch screen panel that will house most of the car’s interior control functions and a navigation unit. 2018 CR-V Engine Specs
Honda has been equipping some of their automobiles with some serious power trains to ensure the cars perform as expected. This will be the same for the 2018 Honda CR-V as it will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. It i s similar to the present in the 2016 Civic sedan. This will allow the car to produce 174 horsepower. The car will come with a standard automatic transmission and an optional manual transmission as well. The basic model will be a two-wheel drive, and a four-wheel drive variant will be available.
Price and Release Date
No specific release date of the 2018 Honda CR-V has been communicated by the auto manufacturer yet. The car is expected to be available for purchase in the fourth quarter of 2017, and if that does not take place then it will be released early in the year 2018. There will not be a huge difference in the price of the new model CR-V. However, some changes are to be expected. The base model which is a front will drive will cost around $ 25,000 while an all-wheel drive variant will go for $ 34,400.
